Update
On the 1st of April 2020 University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and Weston Area Health NHS Trust merged to become University Hospitals Bristol and Weston (UHBW) NHS Foundation Trust. Following this in Autumn 2020, Unity Sexual Health, Bristol and WISH (Weston Integrated Sexual Health) integrated to become one service and the WISH Centre is now led by Unity Sexual Health Services.

Please do not book or attend an appointment at the WISH Centre, if;
You have had a recent onset of a new continuous cough or a high temperature or a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia).
If you develop these symptoms, however mild, or you have received a positive coronavirus (COVID-19) test result, then you should immediately self-isolate stay at home for at least 10 days from when your symptoms started. If you live with others, all other household members who remain well must stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days

IF YOU HAVE ANY IMMEDIATE MEDICAL CONCERNS WHEN WE ARE NOT OPEN YOU CAN CONTACT YOUR GP OUT OF HOURS NUMBER. IN LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES CALL 999 AND IN NON LIFE THREATENING MEDICAL EMERGENCIES CALL 111.
THE WISH CENTRE IS ONLY ABLE TO PROVIDE IMPLANTS AND COILS FOR CONTRACEPTIVE REASONS (NOT FOR MENAPAUSAL REASONS) AND ARE ONLY ABLE TO PROVIDE THEM WITHIN CERTAIN GUIDELINES. IF YOUR GP CARRIES OUT THIS SERVICE THEY WILL BE YOUR FIRST POINT OF CALL. IF NEEDED PLEASE CONTACT US FOR MORE INFORMATION. WE ALSO DO NO LONGER PROVIDE A CERVICAL SMEAR SERVICE, AGAIN, YOUR GP WILL BE YOUR FIRST POINT OF CONTACT FOR THIS.

Parking can often be difficult at the hospital due to the high volume of patients seen at the hospital in relation to the car parking spaces available. Please take this into consideration when attending for your appointment.
