Our Services

The Hospital provides most of the acute care needed by our community, including intensive care, cancer care and coronary (heart) services.

We offer an Emergency Department  (temporarily closed between 10pm and 8am) service which sees more than 47,000 attendances every year.

Ashcombe Birth Centre is a midwife-led birth centre, specialising in low-risk births and working in partnership with St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol, where a full obstetric service is available for women with complicated pregnancies.

The Trust also has Seashore Centre for Children and Young People which hosts out-patient clinics and has a ten-bed day care ward.

The Trust provides a range of cancer services. Those services accredited include, Colorectal, Lung, Skin, Gynaecology, Palliative Care and Urology. A daycase Chemotherapy service is also offered in our modern 10-station Chemotherapy Unit. The breast service at Weston General Hospital is provided by North Bristol NHS Trust.
